All you divorced parents with children can understand. What do you do when your ex-spouse is being difficult and doesn’t bring your kid(s) to their class/soccer game/etc, because your ex-spouse thinks "Soccer is your doing. You signed them up. They don’t want to play (anymore)."
Number 1: I don’t want my kids to become quitters (like their Dad). When we commit and start something, we finish it.
Number 2: Soccer is not "my" doing. It is for and about the kids. Not you and I. The kids expressed interest so I signed them up. Plain and simple.
Are all ex-spouses like this? Is this what you call a power trip?
Friday…
Me: Here are their soccer shoes & jerseys. In the backpack. (Hands it over to him)
XXX: What time is their game?
Me: 8:30
Saturday…
Me (at soccer field at 8:35 am): On the way? Or not coming to game?
XXX: We are in Beebe.
Me: What?! Why didn’t you tell me you weren’t coming to game?!
XXX: You didn’t ask.
Me: @#$(*@#$&@$&^!@#(!&*@# WTF
It is past 12 and I have yet to decide what’s for lunch. The entree…a toss-up between grilled chicken and fried catfish.

Today’s agenda: Kenpo and Ab Ripper.

I have yet to master the moves in Kenpo. They move too damn fast. It was supposed to last for 60 mins. I ran out of time, since I started at 5:59 am (29 mins late - from sleeping in).
By the time I was done with the 30 mins of Kenpo, I was ravenous. My tummy was growling horribly loud. But I was determined to do at least a few reps of Ab Ripper. You know, the total is 329 reps, during the 15-min video…
p.s. Since this is my first post here on WordPress, I should add that I did invest in the P90X pull-up bar, two 7-lb dumbbells, yoga mat (but no blocks), and push-up bars. I love working my back, shoulders and arms on the pull-up bar. In the beginning of Week 1, the number of reps for a narrow-grip pull-up was 4. Now, it is 7. The number for a wide-grip pull-up, however, is still much lower.
